Title: Blizzard (yeah, I know, not terribly creative...) Words: 429 Rating: G Characters: Greg and Sara Disclaimer: I don't really want to claim ownership of them right now, thanks CBS. Prompt: DQ Strawberry Cheesequake Blizzard ( Greg was repentent and pleading ) Title: Waffles ( Sara woke to a feather-light touch trailing down her back )

Title: Little Black Dress Rating: General Spoilers: None Disclaimer: If Grissom runs off to Fiji with Lady Heather, I am giving my DVDs away. A/N: I have a post-9x02 fic germinating, but right now I am taking refuge in my happy place, which is fluff. Takes place late season six/early season seven-ish. No real spoilers. I just think that it's a sin that a woman as beautiful as Sara has never gotten to look hot onscreen. ( He found the dress in her coat closet )

Okay, so I don't usually post her except for stories, but my best friend was getting that "Yeah...uh-huh...okay...I understand, honey" tone of voice after about twenty minutes of my ranting, so I wanted to get a bit more of it out. I can't believe they actually had it end like that. I haven't been that angry since the end of the Angel episode "I Will Remember You," when Angel took back becoming human and Buffy didn't remember it at all. That's the last time I remember yelling at the tv that much. (I was about sixteen at the time, so in that case my overdose of emotion was understandable.) I refuse to believe that that's the end. You can't develop a relationship for nine years - nine years - and end it when one of the characters has eight episodes left. They can't. I think...I think he was identifying himself with Pamela Adler, and Sara with the husband. He sees himself as the one who's unchanging, and Sara as the one who's stuck. So he's trying to make her leave, because he doesn't want her to be stuck with him if they can't move forward. Which, at the moment, he can't. The lab has been his life and his responsibility and his family and his everything for so long that he can't just leave, not while everything is such a mess. And she can't stay. So they're in stasis. And he's said it before: he wants her to be happy. His problem is he can't understand that he is what makes her most happy. ::sigh:: I"m trusting them to fix this. If he runs off to Tahiti with Lady Heather, I'm giving away my DVDs and declaring all the characters dead to me.

Title: First Names Rating: G Pairing: GSR Spoilers: None Disclaimer: If they screw up the next ten episodes, I will be suing for custody. Author's Note: Another first. I have...three more? I think? Hoping they don't get ruined by the new season. Cross your fingers!! ( He called her 'Miss Sidle' at first. )

Title: Home Rating: G Genre: Angsty, but not hopeless Words: 521 Spoilers: Season 9 promo Disclaimer: Nope. Not mine. A/N: Just saw the Season 9 promo for the first time, and ohmygod, please let the episode live up to the preview... ( Grissom is sitting in shock. )

Title: First Dreams Rating: G Pairing: GSR. Duh. Spoilers: none Genre: Oh my god, I wrote something angsty. Mind you, there's a bit of fluff in there too. But there's definitely a good helping of angst. I didn't know I had it in me. :-P Disclaimer: There are so many things I would do differently if they were mine. So very many things... A/N: Okay, this title...sucks. Sorry guys. There are only so many words that fit well in a phrase with "First." Don't worry, the next one will be better, I promise! ( Stay. )

Title: Lucky Rating: G Spoilers: The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp Genre: Fluff (I tried! I just can't blow things up!) Words: 1,931 Prompt: "You've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?", "Dirty Harry," 1971. Disclaimer: CBS owns CSI. I don't know who owns Dirty Harry, but it's not me. A/N: Okay, so I somehow took a quote from a violent Clint Eastwood movie and turned it into a fluffy, sweet, romantic story. I'm just really not good with explosions! I did, however, manage to work in the tried-and-true movie theme of the geek getting the girl ;-). ( Do I feel lucky? )

Title: Comfort Rating: Teen-ish Pairing: Greg/Sara...kind of Words: 1,364 Genre: Vaguely AU. Because I'm not really sure how in character this is. It's not out of character, it's just...well, you'll see. Post-"Leaving Las Vegas." Disclaimer: This would SO never happen on the show. But if I could just borrow Greg for a little bit? Please? A/N: Okay, so I have no clue where this one came from. I've got two other stories that I'm supposed to be working on, but this somehow got in my head and wouldn't get out. Also, me posting this right after manateelotti's "Distance" is TOTAL coincidence...I swear the idea had been had and the story was mostly written before I read hers!! (Not that it's really the same...just a vaguely similar theme.)

Title: Ten Rating: G Pairing: GSR, and the rest of the usual suspects. Spoilers: Through season 8 Disclaimer: Don't own 'em. Author's Note: This is fluff, pure and simple. I have no excuse for it. Just...sit back and try not to get any cavities. ;-) ( Ten o'clock )

Title: Unanswered Whys Rating: G Characters: Sara and Grissom, of course. GSR, but from a finale-related angle Spoilers: Through Season 8 Disclaimer: If I owned them, this would be a scene in the Season 9 premiere. I'm pretty sure it's not, so... Author's note: This is what I want to happen...which means of course it won't happen. I'm avoiding all spoilers like the plague (even vague ones that most people don't consider spoilers), so don't anybody tell me how it will happen, but don't you think having Sara come back to investigate Warrick's murder would be nicely symmetrical? Since she came in the beginning to investigate Warrick? Yeah. Me too. ( God, Sara, I have so many unanswered whys. )

Title: Mine Rating: G Genre: Greg/Sara friendship, a bit of GSR Spoilers: Post-Fannysmackin' Author's note: I love Greg and Sara friendship fics almost as much as I love GSR (and, in case you weren't sure, that's a lot!). This is a pet piece of mine that has been incubating for a while, and it has a companion (with more Greg!) that will hopefully be done next week. Feedback is my friend. :-) ( Sara was pacing the waiting room. )

Title: The Art of Transformation (Elemental Ficathon entry) Prompt: Water - Scorpio Rating: M (soft, but way more M than anything I've ever written) Pairing: GSR, of course Spoilers: Um, we all know they're together, right? Then I think we're cool. Disclaimer: We'll stick with simple here. Not mine - though I would accept donations. Words: 1,394 Author's Note: Okay, I'm only a few minutes past midnight, so please don't throw decomp at me! ( The Alchemists )

Title: Learning the Rest Pairing: um...let me think. Oh right, I'm incapable of writing anything but GSR... Words: 428 Genre: fluff, with a sprinkling of angst Spoilers: Well, it doesn't actually refer to anything specific, but the end will confuse you if you haven't seen "Living Doll." Author's Note: Just a little fic that stuck in my head while I'm working on a slightly longer one. Okay, about three slightly longer ones. Pre-premiere angst is wrecking havoc on my writing abilities. Grrr...argh. Hope you enjoy! |

Title: Cups of Coffee Rating: um...teen, I guess? Nothing explicit. Pairing: GSR (I'm obsessed, I can't help it) Spoilers: Through season 7 Words: 3,323 Summary: "Measure your life in love." Author's note is below the cut because it's long. Humor me. |

Title: Saturday Morning Rating: Teen to be safe, for very VERY minor language Genre: "Fallen Idols" episode filler Focus: Brass, GSR Spoilers: general GSR, nothing too specific Words: 778 Disclaimer: See above. Don't own them. Author's note: Brass is tough to write. And I'm still not totally convinced he knew about Grissom and Sara. But if he did, this is how I thought it would come about... ( Later, he would remember it as one of those moments with unnaturally perfect comedic timing. ) |

Title: Hands Rating: Somewhere between Teen and M Genre: Romantic fluff. It started out silly and ended up more serious, but it's still fluff. Pairing: GSR Words: 807 Spoilers: general GSR. Title: Evidence Author: rosesinjanuary Rating: general Spoilers: Through "Living Doll" Words: 1,654 Pairing: Greg/Sara friendship, GSR Disclaimer: I'm happy to have CBS own them, as long as I can take them out to play once in a while :-) Author's Note: Hello! I'm new to GeekFiction and CSI fic in general. I used to write lots for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Roswell, but it's been several years since the muse struck...and now, of course, she hath struck with a vengeance. Please leave feedback if you like it...I've got about five more stories begging to be written (and trampling on each other to see who makes it to the page/screen first), and if this one goes over well, I'll be posting them here! Enjoy :-) ( Evidence ) |
